Who is LESCO?

LESCO was founded in 1974 as a construction company. We’ve worked with many companies on projects such as brand new facility builds, restorative projects, and quality control reviews. Since our founding, we’ve served businesses all across our 9 state region and built business partnerships we’re extremely proud of!

The origins of LESCO 360

As you can imagine, this means we work very closely with our clients. Over time, we realized that many of them needed help maintaining properties. There was a significant need for organizational help and it came down to a single word.


Property and Facility Managers have a ton to take care of, and needed a solution to manage their extensive responsibilities. There simply wasn’t enough time in the day to get everything done.

From there, the “LESCO Help Desk” was born, although it didn’t quite launch just yet. As we were building this expansion of our services, an opportunity presented itself that pushed us to get the Help Desk off the ground sooner rather than later.

A significant category 4 storm, Hurricane Hugo, unexpectedly hit the Charlotte, NC area in 1989. A large financial institution needed help with their building restoration process at one of their local branches. Our Help Desk team quickly mobilized, working with local vendors using just phone books and notepads to organize their efforts. Our decisive actions helped them recover quickly from the storm.

This solidified the need for the Help Desk. We realized after this project that Facility Managers needed a bridge — someone or something that could bridge the gap between their administrative and maintenance duties.

LESCO’s Help Desk transformed into our LAMA Integrated Facility Management team because of this event. LAMA was written in MS-DOS and served as our client and vendor database in its early years. As technology rapidly shifted in the ’90s and early 2000s, we re-wrote the LAMA system to utilize emerging internet-based trends to better serve our customers.

What is LESCO 360?

LESO 360 is still the same LAMA team, simply rebranded. At its core, LESCO 360 is the organizational bridge to help with all of your Integrated Facility Management (IFM) needs. This includes our Help Desk Call Center, emergency preparedness, recovery solutions; even preventative maintenance, and every-day management services such as lighting updates and annual inspections.

LESCO 360’s IFM provides real time solutions to manage your vendors as they complete general building repairs such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other general maintenance issues.

By design, we’re not a one size fits all approach. Rather, we’re a fully customizable facility management system that meets your facility’s needs. Some of our partners have us maintain all of their billing. Others need us for outside issues such as roofing, window repair, landscaping, and groundskeeping. Still others have asked us to schedule their flooring maintenance and painting needs.
